Grief & Loss Therapy

Support for loss of every kind, including the grief that others don’t always see.

You might be experiencing

  • Waves of sadness, numbness, or anger that come without warning

  • Grief after a death, a relationship ending, a move, or a loss of identity

  • Ambiguous loss, such as grieving someone who is still here, or a future that won’t happen

  • Feeling like your grief isn’t recognized or that you should be “over it” by now

  • Cultural or family expectations about how you’re supposed to grieve

How therapy can help

Grief doesn’t follow a timeline, and there’s no right way to carry it. Therapy offers a space to honour what you’ve lost, make sense of complicated feelings, and find ways to carry your grief that feel bearable. Together, we’ll explore what this loss means to you and how to move forward without leaving the people or parts of yourself you’ve lost behind.

Our approach

We take a trauma-informed, culturally responsive approach that honours the many ways grief is expressed across cultures and families. We pay special attention to losses that often go unacknowledged, and we move at a pace that feels safe for you.

What to expect

Sessions are 60 minutes ($155) and take place virtually through a secure video platform, so you can join from anywhere private in Ontario or across Canada. Direct billing is available through TELUS Health eClaims, GreenShield, Sun Life, and Medavie Blue Cross. Every journey starts with a free 15–30 minute consultation.
